Installers and service guarantee is provided by licensed Fortress installers.

All basement and foundation wall repairs performed by certified Fortress installers are fully guaranteed with a lifetime transferable warranty. Fortress Stabilization Systems warrants the Fortress Fortress Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (C.F.R.P.) System for a lifetime because the carbon fiber technology is that good of a permanent repair system.

The warranty provides for replacement of defective components should a strap fail from lateral loading or deteriorate due to manufacturers defects or workmanship of material.

Warranty Fortress Stabilization Systems will pay in full for materials and labor to install I-Beams or furnish new replacement product and labor, as replacement for defective material. Failure due to acts of nature i.e. earthquake, flood, fire etc., or collision by equipment or vehicles are excluded.

Limitations of C.F.R.P. Fortress Stabilization Systems include: Spacing for an 8ft high wall is no more than 4ft on center. For walls over 8ft high installation is by design. Fortress is designed to maximize tensile strength for lateral loading and makes no claims for shear loading due to settlement. C.F.R.P. must be point loaded on both ends for full effectiveness. Fortress System is not fireproof and special consideration should be given where fire codes exist.

Fortress Stabilization Systems may be applied to substrate that is 1 inch per 40 lineal ft out of recommended tolerance in accordance to ACI guidelines. Deflections over 1 inch per 40 lineal ft, installer should consult with structural engineer to confirm restoration of structure.

Manufacturer recommends substrate to be dry and free of debris. Epoxy system will cure and bond to damp surface. However, bonding capabilities diminish with the presence of moisture. C.F.R.P. must be laminated perpendicular to fault of crack. Failure to do so will diminish the strands ability to be in full tension. Special consideration should be given to abnormal structural movement such as courses of wall sliding or substrates leaning inward from lack of compression loads. In some of these instances Fortress C.F.R.P. may be used in conjunction with other materials.

Warranty as stated is activated with return of warranty form with completed information as requested. Transfer of warranty requires a transfer fee to cover possible inspection of foundation.
