USE OF THE STITCHING DOG

Fortress Stitching Dogs are designed to fit in a single saw cut, therefore they act as a mini-rebar in solid concrete. They can also be used for masonry upgrades by cutting into mortar joints or for flatwork by cutting into concrete slabs to take load away from joints or cracking.
DESCRIPTION:

Carbon Tow Stitching Dog is a straight 80k carbon tow impregnated and cooked. It has an ultimate strength of 1,320 psi in tensile.

ADVANTAGES:

Designed for flatwork poured concrete near surface mounting, slightly embedded into saw cut. It allows for closerspacing and is more economical than steel stitching dogs.
