THE L-ANCHOR OR T-ANCHOR
The Fortress L-Anchor or T-Anchor is designed to enhance bonding capabilities of Solid Carbon Plates by adding a mechanical bond into the concrete. This also improves the standard wet layup carbon tow sheet by acting as an anchor system. The open grids of the T-Anchors allows epoxy to lock in carbon repair material during cure time, whether this is an overhead wet layup preventing carbon from sagging or aiding in prevention of spring off of the solid carbon plate.

DESCRIPTION:
A pre-cured 90o L-anchor 2" X 2" with 5 carbon tows cross woven with Kevlar. This can be used as an L-anchor or combine 2 to produce a T-anchor.
ADVANTAGES:
- Replaces labor intensive method of dipping fabric
- Used to anchor FRP systems where steel anchors could produce corrosive issues
- May be installed using saw cuts or drill openings
