WHAT ARE L-BRACKETS USED FOR?
The Fortress L Brackets are used to provide additional shear strength to existing concrete structures, beams, and foundation walls. For best results, the angles are embedded in the bottom of the concrete slab and bonded to the sides and bottoms of the beams. Fortress L Brackets can be fabricated to any desired thickness and in a variety of widths and sizes to meet the specific requirements of the project. L Brackets can also be fabricated with various grades of carbon fiber for higher tensile modulus.

DESCRIPTION:
The Fortress Stabilization Systems L-Bracket is manufactured in 2 halves to laminate into a single stirrup. The L-Bracket is a pre-preg,p-cured laminate w/peel-ply on both sides for superior secondary bonding. L-Brackets can be manufactured in different gsm strengths and dimensions per customer specifications of application.

- Ambient cure
- Color coded for proper metering
- Designed to be fairly ductile to transfer load to FRP
- Less than 5% air entrapment
- When combined with vacuum clamping laminate can have less than 1% air entrapment
- Will not sag on a vertical or overhead application
- 100% solids no vocs (volatile organic substances)
