The refabrication of existing products has become a major industry in all facets of life, often producing products that are stronger and superior to the original design. Unfortunately, refabrication has not had a major impact within the construction industry, particularly masonry products. This however, is no longer true! Constructive LLC has developed technology that can refrabricate masonry walls, corners, arches, and even whole buildings with reinforced refrabricated masonry products that will revolutionize the industry.

In this case, Constructive's technology makes it possible to prefabricate masonry structures including walls, arches, corners, even whole buildings.

Date: May 2011
Engineer: Biggs Consulting Engineering
Contractor: Constructive LLC
Material Used: Fortress Grid, Unidirectional Fabric, 3/8 inch peel ply plates

Project Scope:
Constructive LLC has developed technology that will remake the masonry industry. Constructive's technology makes it possible to prefabricate masonry structures - walls, arches, corners, even whole buildings. Built in the factory under ideal conditions using modern manufacturing techniques, these elements can be made in advance, then be transported to a jobsite for erection when and as needed, all without any changes to or departures from current building codes or engineering specifications for the structure. This proprietary technology is a "means and methods" that will be used in residential, commercial and industrial applications. It will have a major impact on the masonry and precast construction industry.

Conclusions:
Fortress Carbon Fiber was chosen for its yield to ratio stiffness that keeps the masonry sections in tack during payload.
